It is kinda rough for the price.

Kinda rough? For $10k it should at least look like it's put together correctly! That grille cover has got to go.

It looks like it's been slapped together just for the craigslist pictures, CP.

By top gear maths its $11k and the grill is terrible.

I think that might be the look they were going for.

I'd say with the engine and everything maybe a 7k vehicle, at that price it should be more put together.

What else would need to be completed for you to pay 10.5k?

Paint? Bed? Actual grill? Interior?

What? You took the fireplace screen to make your grille. Cut the bed out, for what reason? Have 2 four barrel carbs on an engine that would run better with a single 4 barrel. And you want how much again?

On principle, I ignore all ads that include "STREET ROD" in the title.

I knew I recognized that grill from somewhere!

I search for street rod on purpose.

For me to get to that price I would say the bed, the grill, AND the interior.

I actually kind of like the paint as is.

I'd feel the need to paint or rechrome the front bumper.

If it doesn't sell at this price he's going to raise it? Genius...

Maybe his wife is making him sell it so this is his token effort.

It's a tricky balance there, I'd almost want to paint it to match the dull black (which would be tough). I hate seeing random perfect chrome on "rat" rods. It just doesn't match, ya know?

I like the look of the old paint with all fresh chrome trim.

I suppose if you rechromed everything chrome and left old paint it would work.

It's inconsistency that bugs me. For example- Perfect brand new chrome under the hood but pitted rusting chrome outside.
